PHOTO GALLERIES: JAPAN'S WINTER WILDLIFE

Tim was born in Japan and he returned their for this project to attempt to capture another side of Japan that few people realize even exists -- the winter gatherings of wildlife, especially in the Northern island of Hokkaido. This story was published in National Geographic Magazine in January 2003.
